Yes, the app is 100% free to download and use. No subscriptions, no trial periods, no locked features. The only thing you pay for is the QFaar sticker, which has real printing and service costs behind it.

You do, because your vehicle records are tied to it. You can sign in with email, Google or Apple.

It does. Cars and motorcycles are handled the same way - profile, fuel, documents and reminders.

As many as you like. We do not charge per vehicle, so a family garage of three works exactly like one.

Most of it works anywhere: records, documents, costs, reminders and vehicle tracking across Europe. Tied to Croatia for now are automatic vehicle lookup by plate, parking payments in Croatian cities and fuel prices at Croatian stations.

Faar is the personal project of Marko Maljković and is built in Split, with Locastic as development partner. Design, development and support happen locally, with no outside contractors: Faar is a European product.

You enter the registration plate and the technical details are pulled in - make, model, year, engine power. Nothing to copy off your registration document.

You can enter the details by hand. Automatic lookup covers vehicles registered in Croatia; every other feature works the same without it.

Nothing is lost. Sign in with the same account on the new device and your whole vehicle history is waiting.

Only you and anyone you have given access to. The records are tied to your account; we do not sell them or turn them into the product.

On servers in the European Union, under GDPR. The same goes for the document photos FaarAI reads: they do not leave the European Economic Area.

No. You still need to carry your documents when driving. Faar keeps the details and the reminders, but it is not an official document.

You can, and past work can be entered with its real date and mileage. A clean maintenance record is worth something when you sell.

A QR sticker for your windscreen. Whoever scans it can tell you that you have blocked someone in or left your lights on, without ever seeing your number.

The standard price is €9 for a year. There is an offer running where the same €9 covers two years. VAT and delivery within Croatia are included. You order it in the app or by email to support@faar.app, and then get a link to pay and fill in your delivery details, or the details for a bank transfer. Delivery and returns are set out in the terms of purchase.

Not yet. Delivery is included in the price and goes to addresses within Croatia.

The sticker is printed to survive sun, rain and car washes, and behind the code sits a service that has to work the moment someone scans it. We charge what keeps that standing.

No. A web page opens where they pick a message, with nothing to install.

A short note you put on your own vehicle that anyone scanning your sticker can see - “Back in 10 minutes” and the like. It carries a countdown of how much longer it holds, because you choose the duration, and it disappears on its own when it expires.

Through partner giveaways, yes. Who those partners are and when a giveaway starts is announced on our social channels.

For now your driving licence, fuel receipts and insurance policies. We always show what was read for you to check before it is saved, and FaarAI is free like the rest of the app.

On Google's Vertex AI service, on servers inside the European Union, so the photo does not leave the European Economic Area. What is sent is not used to train models and is not put in front of human reviewers. The details are in the privacy policy.

By SMS for now, in Croatian cities. You pick the vehicle and the zone, and Faar puts the message together with the right number and your plate. We are working on card payment with Bmove.

We cover every petrol station in Croatia, not a selected chain, and pull the prices every day. Stations outside Croatia are coming soon.

Yes, any with a barcode or QR code. If a brand is not among the ones we support, you add the card by hand, with no limits, and show it from the screen at the till.

Yes. You invite the other driver by email and they use their own account, so you never share a password. They see only the vehicle you share, and you can take their access away at any time.

Tracking is in beta and relies on a device in the vehicle, linked to the vehicle in Faar. You and the people you give access to see the location, in Croatia and across Europe.

Not directly. We work in partnership with Osiguraj.me, who you request a quote through. You take out the policy with the insurer; Faar is where you keep the record and the reminders.

No, not if your mobile number, OIB and date of birth are already in your profile. Faar fills them in, and you pick the vehicle and compare the offers.
