Is Faar really free?

Yes. Faar is 100% free to download and use. There are no hidden subscriptions, trial periods or locked features. Our aim is to give you an excellent tool at no cost; the business model comes from partnerships (insurers, garages) where we can offer you better terms.

How does the app recognise my vehicle automatically?

You only need to enter your registration plate. Thanks to our partners, the system pulls in the technical details — make, model, year, engine power — so you do not have to type anything in or dig out paperwork. For a small number of vehicles the data is not there, and those you fill in by hand — we are working on it, and the aim is for the lookup to be flawless for every vehicle.

Can I track costs and servicing for more than one vehicle?

Absolutely. One car, a motorcycle, or a family fleet of three — Faar supports any number of vehicles. They all sit in your digital garage, and you track fuel, servicing and documents separately for each one.

Will the app remind me when my registration or documents expire?

Yes, and it is one of the most useful things it does. Faar notifies you before your registration, insurance policy or service appointment is due. No more fines for an expired registration or driving uninsured.

What happens to my data if I change phones?

Your data is safe in the cloud. Sign in with your account — email, Google or Apple ID — on the new device and your vehicle history, servicing, fuel entries and documents will all be waiting for you.
