It started as frustration, not a business plan
One app for everything that comes with a car — registration, servicing, fuel, costs. Here is how it came about.
How it started
2017
The frustration
Registration, a policy, the last service, fuel receipts somewhere in the glovebox. Everything about a car scattered across five places. That is where the idea started.
2017 – 2023
Waiting
Six years of waiting for someone else to build it. There were apps, but none that kept it all in one place — least of all for drivers in Croatia.
2024
Building it ourselves
Once it was clear it would not happen on its own, we gathered a team of people the same thing had bothered and started building.
Today
Growing
New features land regularly, and so do partners — servicing, insurance, tyres, tracking. Every service is built with someone who actually provides it.
The future
Where we are going
We have set the bar high: for Faar to be the first place you go for anything to do with your car — from registration through to the day you sell it. Not another app among many, but the one you come back to.
I lived on a street where people parked one behind another in the morning. Around six the honking would start, and the swearing right behind it — the kind you can hear three floors up. Someone had blocked someone else in, and there was no way round it but to wake half the neighbourhood. 😅 It kept nagging at me that there had to be a way for people to reach each other without the horn and without the shouting under the windows. That is where QFaar came from.
I waited a long time for someone to sort it out. It seemed far too simple a thing to stay unsolved. It never happened, so we started ourselves.
We are not building this because we spotted a market opportunity, but because the tool was missing for us. I think that difference shows in what we make.

What we build next follows what people tell us. If something is missing, or does not work the way it should, tell us. It genuinely changes the order.

The record of your car belongs to you. We do not sell it or turn it into the product.
Partners, not resale
Services are built with the people who provide them. We do not put our name on someone else’s work.
We are looking for partners
We are always open to new partners — garages, parts retailers, insurers, operators, and anyone offering drivers something useful.
Our dream is to change something in this industry: less paper, less ringing around, more things settled from one place. That does not happen without people who share the idea.
