Frequently asked questions for businesses
How the portal works, what drivers can see, and what we are still building.
Getting started
How do we open a business account?
A business account is created on the web, in the portal at business.faar.app. You do not need the app for it — the app is for drivers and personal vehicles.
Is there anything to install?
Not for the portal itself, which runs in a browser. Drivers use the Faar app, which they may already have for their own vehicle.
Can one account manage several companies?
Yes. A single user account can belong to more than one company, and you switch between them inside the interface.
Pricing
What does the business portal cost?
Nothing for now. The portal is in beta and available to approved companies only, free of charge — what we ask in return is feedback, because that is what shapes what we build next.
Will it be charged for later?
Yes, once it leaves beta. We are aiming for the best pricing on the market, and companies who were with us through the beta will be told the terms in advance — nobody will be surprised by an invoice.
How do we get approved?
Write to business@faar.app with a few sentences about your fleet. We walk through the portal together and open access.
Vehicles and drivers
Can several drivers share one vehicle?
Several people can have access — the owner, company members, and anyone the vehicle is shared with. Assignment is a different thing: exactly one driver is responsible for a vehicle at a time, because that is the record that answers a fine or a damage claim.
Who may change a vehicle’s details?
Plates and registration documents are changed by the owner or a company member with fleet permissions. A driver does not change those, but records fuel, servicing and insurance as normal.
Does a driver need their own account?
A driver is a record in the portal and does not need an account to be managed or assigned a vehicle. They only need one if they want to use the app in a company context.
What happens when a driver leaves?
You deactivate them and release the vehicle. The assignment history stays, so who drove what and when is still on record.
Tracking and orders
Is fleet tracking available?
Yes, in beta. A tracking device is paired with a fleet vehicle and the location is read live from the tracking system — we do not keep a location history in Faar.
Can we issue travel orders?
Not yet. Travel orders are in progress, along with work orders and loco driving recorded as Croatian law requires. Tell us if you need them — we are building to what companies already using the portal actually ask for.
Data and access
Can a driver see other drivers’ details?
No. A driver sees their own record and the vehicles they have access to, not the full roster with colleagues’ contact details.
How many vehicles can we manage?
There is no limit on the number of vehicles in a fleet.
